ParameterDescription… Displays the Parameter Description dialog box.

This item is enabled for any tab other than the Custom tab. It adds the

selected parameter to the display objects of the selected custom tabs.

Delete from Custom Tab This item is only enabled for the Custom tab. It removes the selected

parameter from the display objects of the Custom tab.

- Anyparametervaluethatwillnottinthedisplayareaisdisplayedinatexttooltip.

- The engineering unit is displayed on both the Device Values area and Work area. (Only for

parameters with an engineering unit.)

- The display/edit format is applied, which means that when values are displayed, they are

displayedinaccordancewiththedisplayformatdenedintheDD.Also,whenvaluesare

edited,theyaredisplayedinaccordancewiththeeditformatdenedintheDD.

- The scaling factor is applied, which means that parameters for which a scaling factor is

denedbytheDDaredisplayedbythescalingfactorbeingmultipliedtoavaluereadfrom

the connected device.

- In the search screen, searches for parameter names including input characters are

performed in order. Searching for values is not supported.
